Jai (ใจ) is the Thai translation for “Heart”, a trait much valued by founder Jeremy Jude, a former professional Muay Thai athlete himself.
With an Amateur and Professional career spanning more than 10 years, Jeremy spent lots of it fighting in the North Thailand circuit, making a name and even fighting for local stadium titles.
Often fighting Thais with significantly much more experience meant not always winning, but the constant throughout his fights was his never-say-die attitude and relentless fighting style, and was often commended by Thais for having a “strong heart”, orjai dee in Thai.
This ethos became synonymous with his name, and recognition as one of Singapore’s more prominent fighters, and amongst few locals to have fought professionally in Thailand and abroad.
